New Arguments On Seat-sharing of TDP & JSP

TDP Janasena Alliance

Telangana BJP and Janasena have allied with each other for the upcoming Assembly elections. BJP has given eleven seats to Janasena as a part of seat-sharing. The seats are Kukatpally, Serlingampally, Malkajgiri, Nampally, Thandur, Kodad, Nagarkurnool, Khammam, Wyra, Kothagudem, and Aswaraopeta.

It appears like Janasena will have a tough chance of even winning a single seat in this eleven. The seats are picked in a way that Janasena should cut votes of Congress at some places and benefit BRS.

Meanwhile, Janasena supporters on social media started a new argument. “Janasena is very weak in Telangana and if it gets eleven seats there, the party should get at least 50 seats in Andhra Pradesh. Moreover, there are only 119 seats in Telangana, AP has 175 seats,” they say.

The logic holds good for now but then, things may change once the results are out.

TDP can even say Janasena could not even win one seat in Telangana and giving it more seats will be a big risk in Andhra Pradesh.

BJP has no chance of winning seats even in double digits. Not eleven, there is no wrong even if it gives 50-60 seats in Telangana. But Andhra Pradesh will be a different ball game.

The supporters of both sides should leave it to their leaders and survey reports to decide about seat-sharing.
