No Immediate Relief For Chandrababu In AP HC

Chandrababu-Naidu-High-CourtAndhra Pradesh High Court provided no immediate relief for Former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. The Court took up the petitions of Naidu this morning and started hearing.

The judge offered to change the Bench if they had any objection because he previously worked as a Public Prosecutor. The TDP Advocates said they have no problem.

AAG Ponnavolu Sudhakar Reddy appeared for the CID and sought time for filing of the counter. Former AG Dammalapati Srinivas, Supreme Court Senior Advocate Siddharth Luthra, and other Senior Advocates argued for Chandrababu.

But then, it has adjourned the hearing of the Quash Petition by one week. The next hearing will take place on September 19th as the judge opined that he needs more time to listen to the matter elaborately.

The court directed the CID to file a counter by that day.

In the petition to stall the CID Custody in Skill Development Case, the Court ordered Vijayawada ACB Court not to take up the Custody petition of Chandrababu Naidu filed by the CID until Monday, September 18. The Court directed CID not to take Chandrababu into custody until September 18th.

In another petition that seeks anticipatory bail, the court adjourned the matter until September 19th.
