
The hearing regarding Vizag Suresh Productions land was held in Supreme Court. In the past, Jagan’s government approved using the land allotted for a studio for other purposes.
The present government had issued a show cause notice asking why they cannot strike down the permission given by the past government. Suresh Productions questioned this in Supreme Court.

However, Supreme Court refused to interfere in the matter. It ruled out temporary relief in the matter. It told Suresh Productions to approach the relevant Court regarding government’s show cause notice.
On the other hand, Suresh Productions requested to withdraw its petition and the Apex Court agreed.

The land in Vizag was originally allotted for the development of Ramanaidu Studio in Andhra Pradesh. However, Suresh Productions got permission from Jagan government to sell it as commercial plots.
When the alliance government came to power, it questioned the usage of land for other purposes.
