Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is on a Tour to various States to garner the Support for his Federal Front Idea. The Chief Minister so far met Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik and West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee. Both the leaders have well received him but were reportedly non-committal about their support to the Federal Front.

Speaking to the media after the meeting, Naveen Patnaik went on to say that he agrees with KCR in bringing Qualitative Change in the Politics but also said they did not talk anything about the alliance. Things are more or less the same in Kolkata as well. Mamata Banerjee stood alongside KCR when he is interacting with media after the meeting but did not utter a single word.
One more Blunder KCR has done in this episode is that the Telangana Chief Minister will be meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi tomorrow in Delhi. There are doubts in the Political Circles that KCR has brought up this Federal Front to divide the Opposition Vote and stop the parties from rallying with Congress against BJP.
This meeting at the crucial juncture has increased the doubts about KCR‘s Credibility. Further back home, KCR is trying to decimate the very Congress which has granted the Separate Statehood. Also, there are experiences in the past when KCR ditched the Third Front during 2009 elections and joined NDA even before the results.
