Navaratnalu is the trademark manifesto wording used by CM Jagan Mohan Reddy. Jagan’s sister Sharmila has now used the very same Navaratnalu to poltiically irk the YCP chief.
“Let alone your Navaratnalu program, I have nava sandehaalu(nine doubts) about your administration and misrule.” Sharmila remarked in her public meeting today.
“Didn’t you form a sub-committee for SC/ST welfare and divert the funds? Why did you halt the irrigation allotment program that would’ve helped the farming community? Why did you stop the 28 government schemes that were in effect before you became the CM? What happened to the SC/ST relocation program that was intended to help the community economically?”
“Why did you remove BR Ambedkar’s name from the foreign studies program? Why weren’t the sitting SC/ST MLAs in your party given the tickets? You encouraged an MLC who killed and door-delivered a backward community car driver.”
Sharmila’s 9 straight questions to Jagan about the oppression of the SC/ST communities caught the attention right away. If Sharmila can attract the SC/ST community that was traditionally with Congress, it could seriously dent th chances of Jagan’s YCP.
