
BJP State Minister Bandi Sanjay has claimed that after a clean sweep in Delhi, the focus will be next on Telangana.
At the moment BJP is leading in 44 seats out of 70 seats and Aap is leading in 26 seats. The third party Congress turned out be a no-show with zero numbers.

This has given boost to local BJP leaders as they are keenly awaiting taking over Telangana. If one looks at BJP strategy in the past few years, it has been concentrating on one state at a time and shattering the stronghold of parties, be it national or regional.
The liquor scam implicating Kejriwal and Sisodia has impacted the Aap’s chances in the polls. Also, the BJP has been giving major projects to states where it’s in power or has an alliance with local parties.

People have understood this trend and seem to be voting for BJP giving it a clear edge across the country.
After northern and north-eastern states, the BJP is working towards taking over the southern states. In South, regional parties have a stronghold, so for now they are forging poll alliances.

But the long-term goal is to take over Telangana along with other states. In an online poll by TG Congress, only 33% wanted the party. Delhi polls have shown the Congress has barely made any impact despite being active after Bharat Jodo Yatra.
This has given further boost for local BJP leaders to mobilize their cadre to reach out to people and create a base on which the party can win over Telangana.
