Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi had landed in the United States of America couple of hours back. There is a lot of frenzy in the Indian community there as Police had to block the traffic leading to his hotel in the busy Madison avenue area of New York city. The Police had arranged a special enclosure near the hotel for his supporters to have a look at Modi. People are seen with placards with messages ‘We love Modi’ ‘America loves Modi’ ‘Indian American loves Modi’.
The crowd went berserk as they saw the Prime Minister and shouted slogans ‘Har Har Modi’, ‘Bharat Mata ki Jai’ and ‘Vandemataram’. In a rare gesture keeping the protocol aside, Modi came out of his convoy and greeted everyone with a Namaste and also waved at the people and later walked inside the hotel. He will be staying in this hotel till 29th of this month and will later move to another hotel as he flies down to Washington.
