
One issue that has created a furore in the last couple of days is the attack on Chilukuru Balaji chief priest CS Rangarajan by some claiming to be descendants of mythical Ikshwaku clan. One person has been arrested for the outrageous act.
The Moinabad police have arrested one person identified as Veera Raghava Reddy from Andhra Pradesh. Veera Raghava Reddy’s team arrived at Chilukuru temple on Friday morning. The issue came to light after Rangarajan’s father MV Soundarajan reported the issue.

Raghav Reddy first attacked the priest and later made videos threatening him. Right now, police are hunting for the other members in the team, who are absconding.
The ‘Ram Rajya’ group claims its objective is to establish ‘Rama Rajya by creating private armies to punish those who do not accept their mission or agenda’.

The fringe group wanted Rangarajan’s patronage and financial support. The Moinabad police have confirmed that they have arrested Veera Raghava Reddy who leads Rama Rajya Sainyam. Reddy is presently in judicial custody.
CM Revanth Reddy called up the priest to enquire after his health. Bandi Sanjay too called Rangarajan, while KTR visited him in person.
