In yet another shock to YSR Congress Party, Erragonda Palem YSR Congress MLA, David Raju joined the ruling Telugu Desam Party a short while ago in the presence of CM Chandrababu Naidu. Already five MLAs and one MLC of YSR Congress joined TDP and now David Raju takes the count to six MLAs.

David Raju used to be in TDP in the past. He even worked as Zilla Parishad Chairman from TDP and got elected as Santhanuthalapadu MLA in 1999. Before the last elections, he joined YSR Congress. He was given Erragonda Palem ticket and became MLA. Now he once again joined Telugu Desam Party.
Opposition Leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is in a shock with these back to back defections. From one side Jagan is trying to stop the defections but on another side, MLAs continue to go away. The party is demanding by-elections in these seats but even if they arrive, the party has several problems to face this elections.
