
The nation stands shocked and numbed by the death of 26 innocent people on a vacation in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. The bodies of those killed are being burnt and those left behind are unsure of what future holds for them.
It is indeed a sad time for the entire nation. But politics are politics and the national parties don’t shy away from playing death politics.

It is rather disgusting that the two major national parties of India are taunting each other on social media when they must be working together to do the needful to instill confidence among the people of the nation and promote unity.

Operation Tikki has been initiated and two terrorists have been killed. Four other terrorists have been identified so far. Heavy exchange of gunfire took place between the Indian army and terrorists and the hunt for other terrorists is going on.
Ironically, both Rahul Gandhi and Prime Minister Modi were abroad at the time of the attack on Tuesday. While Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi was in the US to visit Brown University in Rhode Island for a talk, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was in Saudi Arabia on a diplomatic visit.
