Ever since the new government formed in Andhra Pradesh, the crimes and atrocities of the former government’s YCP leaders have been exposed one by one.
Now, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has begun his operation on one of the most corrupt YCP leaders, Dwarampudi Chandrashekar Reddy.
Dwarampudi was the MLA of Kakinada City in the previous term. When not in power, Pawan targeted Dwarampudi’s corruption in the East Godavari region.
In response, Dwarampudi abused Pawan and his family. He also challenged that he would defeat Pawan if the latter contested from any constituency in East Godavari.
Meanwhile, Dwarampudi lost the recent elections and so did his party, YCP. On the other side, Pawan Kalyan and his Janasena Party won by a thumping majority, in alliance with TDP and BJP.
Today, state’s Civil Supplies Minister, Nadendla Manohar, conducted a review meeting in Kakinada Collectorate and discussed the administrative loopholes in the civil supplies department.
He said that during YCP’s rule, all government departments in the district worked for the Dwarampudi Chandrashekar Reddy’s family.
Manohar alleged that ration rice was illegally transported from the Chittoor district to Kakinada port in thousands of lorries through the green channel.
He accused the Dwarampudi family of running a new mafia by illegally exporting rice through Kakinada port.
Nadendla Manohar warned officers that illegal activities will not be tolerated under the new government and urged them to change their habits.
This is the first step towards exposing Dwarampudi’s illegal activities and more are expected to be exposed by Pawan and the new government in the coming days.
