A few days ago, MLA Bonda Uma openly accused Pollution Control Board Chairman Krishnaiah of ignoring complaints. Uma claimed Krishnaiah avoids work by blaming the Deputy Chief Minister’s orders or availability. He questioned if the board even functions properly.
Pawan Kalyan stayed calm despite the sharp remarks. The incident quickly went viral, with many interpreting it as a clash between TDP and Janasena.
That evening, Bonda Uma posted tweets praising Pawan Kalyan to ease the situation. Despite the drama, Pawan Kalyan and Janasena leaders chose not to respond publicly or fuel opposition narratives.
Pawan Kalyan then met with senior officials to address the concerns raised by Uma. He urged them to act seriously and avoid any negative remarks. The Deputy CM plans to summon PCB Chairman Krishnaiah soon.
Instead of ignoring the issue, Pawan Kalyan took it seriously, showing how a leader should handle criticism, even when it’s uncomfortable.
Still, Bonda Uma could have handled the matter better. Publicly accusing the chairman in the house while the entire state watched embarrassed the Deputy CM and may be exploited by the opposition.
Uma should have raised his concerns privately with the Chief Minister or Deputy CM. Given the good relationship between the parties, such public drama was unnecessary.
