Pawan Kalyan: Attacks Are Not The Answer

Pawan Kalyan urges restraint

Pawan Kalyan has called for restraint, making it clear that political criticism should be answered in a democratic way, not through attacks.

Reacting to the recent attack on a media office, he said such incidents go against the spirit of democracy. According to him, criticism and counter-criticism are part of politics, but how leaders respond matters more.

He pointed out that if anyone has objections to comments or reports, the right way is to approach courts, not resort to violence.

At the same time, he took a dig at the YSRCP leadership, recalling instances where limits were crossed in public speeches. He mentioned that Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy made inappropriate remarks even in front of students, and added that people have not forgotten the way Jagan compared his wife to a car while speaking publicly.

He also referred to the Assembly episode where comments were made against Chandrababu Naidu’s wife, and said Jagan was seen encouraging it. Despite such situations, he pointed out that neither Jana Sena nor its supporters reacted with attacks.

He said this shows the difference in approach. Even when provoked, one should not stoop to that level and must maintain dignity.

Pawan Kalyan also advised party leaders and workers to be careful with their words in public. Once spoken, words carry weight, and they cannot be taken back.

He added that today’s younger generation is closely watching public figures and forming opinions quickly. Leaders, he said, should be mindful of this, as their words and actions are being closely watched.

Condemning the media office attack, he reiterated that disagreements should be handled legally. If anyone feels hurt, they should seek justice through proper channels, not take matters into their own hands.

His message was simple, political fights can continue, but they should stay within democratic limits.
