People Are Laughing at Jagan’s Vision for AP Capital

Jagan Mohan Reddy completed his five-year term in power, and he came up with the illogical idea of three capitals at once, even though building one capital is a huge challenge. The funny part is that not even once did he come before the media to explain his vision for three capitals and how he plans to build infrastructure or create jobs using them.

There’s already mockery of Jagan, claiming that he reads even public speeches from Siddham Bus by looking at papers. However, for the first time, he sat down with Rajdeep Sardesai for an India Today interview.

Jagan finally opened up about the three capitals, but people on social media are making fun of his wisdom. When asked why Vizag as capital, his answer was that he does not need to build anything as the roads and city are readily available. That is his vision for the AP capital.

One would expect a CM to talk about how Vizag will grow in the future, how it can accommodate lakhs of people and immigrants to the capital city in the future, and how it will work as a growth engine for the state, like Hyderabad for Telangana, Bangalore for Karnataka, and Chennai for Tamil Nadu. But he does not even say a single thing like that.

When Rajdeep mentioned why not Amaravati? Jagan said Amaravati is a huge pocket of barren land, and it is impossible to build the capital there spending lakhs of crores. On the other hand, it was Jagan who pushed his entire YCP machinery to attack Chandrababu Naidu for building a capital in fertile lands. Maybe he forgot and called it barren land?

Lastly, he called Amaravati a big scandal. Isn’t this is the reason why the AP brand was damaged, and investors ran away? If the CM himself calls the capital a scam, who would want to invest in his state?

If it is a scandal, why has Jagan still not proven anything against Chandrababu Naidu? All he did was file an inner ring road case against Chandraabu when he was recently arrested. If one remembers, this inner ring road case came later after the skill case, just to trouble Chandrababu further without getting bail.

This means Jagan found nothing against Naidu despite sitting in the CM chair.

But who would ruin the state capital like Jagan did? If the government changes in the next few weeks, Chandrababu, who is known for creating infrastructure, will surely build Amaravati and enact laws permanently this time so that Jagan cannot ruin the capital again. That will mark a big shame on Jagan for his vengeance in the name of the capital.
