Andhra Pradesh’s Deputy Chief Minister and Jana Sena Party president, Pawan Kalyan, took up “Vaarahi Ammavari Deeksha” earlier today.
He was seen in the Deeskha attire this morning at his camp office. He will be performing this Deeksha for 11 days. During the course, he will only consume milk, fruits and liquid food items.
Pawan Kalyan went on “Vaarahi Vijaya Yatra” in June last year. At that time as well, he performed puja to Vaarahi Devi and took up Deeksha.
Vaarahi Vijaya Yatra played a crucial role in Pawan’s thumping success in the 2024 general elections in Andhra Pradesh.
His party contested in the 21 assembly and two Lok Sabha seats as a part of an alliance with the Telugu Desam Party and Bharatiya Janata Party.
Jana Sena won all the constituencies it contested and achieved a 100% success rate in assembly and Lok Sabha polls.
After forming the government, Pawan Kalyan was made the Deputy Chief Minister and the Minister of Panchayat Raj, Rural Development & Rural Water Supply, Environment, Forest, Science & Technology.
Meanwhile, Pawan Kalyan conducted a legislative affairs awareness meeting for his MLAs this morning at his camp office in Vijayawada.
In the meeting, MLAs were briefed about the rules and affairs of the legislative assembly.
