Khairatabad GaneshThe Khairatabad Maha Vinayaka in Telugu states is all set to dazzle devotees during the upcoming Ganesh festival. This year, the colossal Ganasatha of Khairatabad will present itself in the form of Shri Dasha Maha Vidyaganapati, towering to a staggering height of 63 feet.

The grand festivities are scheduled to commence today, September 18th, with the inaugural puja scheduled for 11 AM.

This year marks the 69th anniversary of the Khairatabad Ganesha Utsavam, which commenced in 1954. The unique aspect of this year’s celebration is the manifestation of Ganesha as Dashamaha Vidyaganapati.

The idol, standing tall at 63 feet, is accompanied by depictions of Panchamukha Lakshminarasimha Swamy, Veerabhadra Swamy, Varahi Ammavaru, and Saraswati Mata.

A dedicated team of around 150 artisans has worked tirelessly for 100 days to craft this magnificent statue. Despite challenges like rain, the idol was completed without hindrance, with a total expenditure of 90 lakh rupees.

Every year, an astounding 30 to 40 lakh devotees flock to have the darshan of the Khairatabad Ganesh.
