
During the election campaign, Pawan Kalyan promised to develop Pithapuram if he was elected as the MLA. The people chose him with a thumping majority and eventually, Pawan became the Deputy Chief Minister of the state.
As promised, Pawan Kalyan is taking steps towards developing Pithapuram. Recently, Pawan got approval for the construction of a 100-bed Government Hospital in Pithapuram.

Currently, Pithapuram has a 30-bed community health care centre, which is now being upgraded to a 100-bed facility. The hospital will be constructed with a budget of Rs. 38 crores and will make it easier for people residing in nearby villages to receive treatment.
The Health, Medical, and Family Welfare Department has also released a circular creating 66 additional posts for the hospital. These positions are expected to be filled soon.

A few months ago, it was reported that Apollo Hospitals is also setting up its branch in Pithapuram, expanding its services to the town and nearby areas.
With government hospitals being upgraded and private multi-speciality hospitals entering the town, Pithapuram is definitely strengthening its healthcare services for its citizens with the support of Pawan Kalyan.
