Krishnam Raju, the man who made abusive comments against Amaravati women, showed no repentance, the police said in their remand report.
It is known that Krishnam Raju has been taken into custody for hurting the sentiments and emotionally disturbing Amaravati women.
The police told the Court that VVR Krishnam Raju did not feel bad for making the statement that Amaravati women were prostitutes. In fact, he made YouTube videos and posted them, backing his comments, the police said.
Though women of all communities and religions live in Amaravati, Raju’s objective was to hit out at the dalit and girijana women in the area, the police said.
Krishnam Raju was well aware of the fact that High Court judges, subordinate judicial members, IAS, IPS and other high-level bureaucrats live in the capital area. Despite this, he made the controversial statements, the police told the Court.
Krishnam Raju was presented before the additional judicial magistrate of first class cum civil judge Court in Mangalagiri by Tulluru police. They submitted a remand report about various aspects of the case.
