YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and his Sister Sharmila have chosen to take different paths in Politics. Now, they are crisscrossing each other’s paths.
The other day, Yatra 2, a Propaganda film of YSR Congress released its teaser.
The movie planned for a February 9th release is to help the YSR Congress in the elections by portraying Sonia Gandhi and Chandrababu Naidu in a poor light.
Yatra was a positive propaganda showing YSR as a positive person but the makers chose negative propaganda in the second part by using actors resembling Chandrababu and Sonia Gandhi.
But here is a catch. While Jagan tries to score by showcasing Sonia Gandhi in bad light, we have Sharmila who will work for the same Sonia Gandhi. She had announced that she would work to make true her father’s dream of seeing Rahul Gandhi as Prime Minister.
YSR Congress leaders leased theaters and screened Yatra movie extensively back then to influence the voters of Andhra Pradesh. Probably, they will do the same this time as well as elections are around the corner.
The court earlier halted the release of Ram Gopal Varma’s Vyooham movie, a similar propaganda film of YSR Congress. Nara Lokesh himself waged a legal battle to stop the film. It has to be seen how they will deal with Yatra 2.
The makers avoided using the flags of Congress and TDP and also the names in the teaser.
