Former AAG Ponnavolu Sudhakar came before the media after a long time.
Sudhakar was instrumental in filing fake cases against the TDP leadership in the previous Government. Further, he used to keep Press Meets against the Service Rules and talk illegally about the cases (Chandrababu Naidu’s cases) that were under judicial purview.
Once Jagan lost power, Ponnavolu is back as YSR Congress Lawyer.
Today, he demanded an inquiry by a Sitting or Retired Judge in the Tirumala Laddu controversy.
“The CM has cast the dice. He created a path with these allegations and naturally, the investigation agency belonging to them will take the same path. So, we do not believe in SIT. We want an inquiry by a sitting or Retired Judge,” Ponnavolu said.
Keeping the matter aside, what about the then cases against Chandrababu Naidu?
Going by the same logic, Jagan has cast the dice, and the SIT and the CID should have followed the same. All the cases against Chandrababu Naidu should be void.
Why did the CID pursue those cases? Why did Ponnavolu and the then CID Chief Sanjay go to Hyderabad and Delhi and address Press Meets about the same?
The State Government Agencies were Pure in Jagan’s regime and impure now?
