Janasena Party’s Secretary General, Naga Babu, is quite active on social media and often makes big (sometimes controversial) statements on his X handle.
Today, he conveyed birthday wishes to AP’s former Chief Minister and YCP chief, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, but in his own sarcastic style.
Naga Babu tweeted, “I wish a very happy birthday to former Chief Minister and current Pulivendula MLA, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy garu. I hope you continue to stay happy in the same way as you are.”
Naga Babu took an indirect sarcastic potshot by calling Jagan a mere MLA. It is already known that his party, YCP, lost the opposition status for failing to win at least 10% of the seats in the assembly elections.
While YCP supporters are irked by Naga Babu’s wishes, Janasena leaders have appreciated them.
Meanwhile, AP CM Chandrababu Naidu also conveyed birthday wishes to Jagan by tweeting, “Warm birthday greetings to @ysjagan Garu. May he be blessed with good health and long life.”
On the flip side, Naga Babu has been recently inducted into the state cabinet. His portfolio is expected to be announced soon.
