This time you visit Lord Balaji at Tirumala, you will get pustaka prasadam apart from the laddoo. A decision to this end has been taken by TTD recently.
The idea is to spread awareness among people against conversions. The books are also meant to highlight the greatness and importance of Sanatana Dharma.
A collection of books have been assorted like Srinivasuni Divya Katha, Bhaja Govindam, Sri Venkatesa Suprabhatam, Sri Vishnu Sahasranama Stotram and few others.
TTD chairman BR Naidu updated the news on his X handle. The pustaka prasadam will be given along with akshatas, turmeric, vermillion and laddoos.
To begin with, the books will be distributed to devotees visiting the temple. Later, the books will be distributed in backward areas. TTD will take the help of donors for printing the books.
The idea is to promote devotional feeling and understanding of Hindu dharma among people. This will enhance spiritual growth among people, TTD feels.
