Recently, Hyderabad police have been actively conducting raids on pubs and five-star hotels across the city, busting illegal activities. Just a couple of months ago, a major drug bust happened at a five-star hotel in Gachibowli.
In a recent incident, the Task Force police raided a posh pub located on Banjara Hills Road No: 14 last night.
The police received information suggesting that the pub was operating beyond its permitted hours. Immediately, they conducted the raid.
According to the police, the pub management had been hosting explicit dances involving approximately 40 women from various states.
Eventually, the cops filed a case against the management and arrested around 160 young men and women. All individuals involved were issued notices under CRPC 41A. The police have confirmed that the detained women will be transferred to the Women’s Rehabilitation Center.
Additionally, the cops have also stated that they are investigating the possibility of illegal drug sales at the pub. More updates on the case are expected to be released soon.
