Rajamouli’s father, Vijayendra Prasad had been maintaining cordial relationships with BJP. He was even conferred with the Rajyasabha membership by the saffron party.
As for Rajamouli, he is set to meet Amit Shah very soon. The nature of this meeting has become a topic of discussion.

At the same time, Rajamouli is also in good terms with TRS as well. He even took part in a TRS event recently and praised Harish Rao to the sky there. He is playing both sides in Telangana politics wisely.
But in the case of Andhra Pradesh politics, Rajamouli is playing it safe and has distanced himself completely.

Back in the day, when Rajamouli tried to help Chandrababu in the designing of Amaravati, YCP media gave him a caste colouring. This deeply hurt him and he then decided not to get involved with this stuff.
Then came Jagan where he started to trouble the film industry in so many ways. Even during RRR’s release, Rajamouli had to sweat over ticket prices and special shows in AP.
