Legendary Media Baron Cherukuri Ramoji Rao passed away earlier hours of today fighting prolonged illness due to age-related ailments.
Ramoji Rao suffered breathing issues and had been admitted to a Corporate Hospital on 5th of this month.

He was put on Ventilator and he passed away at 4.50 AM this morning.
His mortal remains are kept at his residence in Ramoji Film City for the people to offer their last respects.

His Grandson has to come from the United States.
And so, we are told that his final rites will take place in the Film City itself tomorrow.

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy ordered the officials to accord him full state honors.
This is the first time a Media Baron is getting Full state honors at his final rites.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, who went to Delhi for the CWC meeting, issued orders to the Chief Secretary of the state government from there. Ranga Reddy Collector and Cyberabad Commissioner were ordered by CS to supervise the arrangements.
