Red Flag: Raghurama Complains About Protocol

Raghurama Krishna Raju Complains About Protocol

Deputy Speaker has raised eyebrows with his comments regarding the ‘Suparipalanalo Toli Adugu’ programme held in Amaravati recently.

It is known that Raghurama Raju was like a thorn for YSRCP leader Jagan Mohan Reddy constantly criticising him and the party.

Now, his latest behaviour has given rise to concerns among TDP cadre. On the face of it, it appears to be a simple concern.

But going by Raghurama Raju’s past behaviour, the TDP members and alliance members are rather concerned.

Raghurama said that during the above mentioned event, the MLAs were humiliated. He said that the protocol of MLAs was bigger than that of Collectors.

He did not stop there. They seated Collectors, SPs and MPs on the same table. On another table, the corporation directors were seated with MLAs. In the programme organized by the government, protocol wasn’t followed, said Raghurama.

The Speaker and Deputy Speaker must be invited for a government meeting. I will write a letter to the Chief Secretary regarding the insult to MLAs, said Raghurama.

I am hoping this is the first mistake. Had I gone for the meeting, I would have walked out after seeing the seating arrangement. I am speaking as many MLAs shared with me that they felt insulted, said Raghurama.

I am not sure if the protocol violation was done with the knowledge of higher-ups in the party or not, said Raghurama.

The Deputy Speaker’s comments have raised many eyebrows among alliance members.
