Critics alleged that the Chief Minister used the high-profile event to promote his family. Responding firmly, Revanth Reddy said the child was taken to encourage interest in sports among youngsters. He remarked that his family does not frequent pubs like the KCR family.
Revanth Reddy clarified that the Messi event was entirely private. He stated that attendance was only as a guest and not in any official capacity. The CM stressed that no government protocol or promotion was involved in the event.
Addressing concerns over Singareni funds, Revanth Reddy said Rs 10 crore was contributed by Singareni Management. The amount was released as part of CSR activities along with advertising commitments. He denied any misuse of public funds.
The Chief Minister also spoke about the Formula e-Racing investigation. He confirmed that the probe is ongoing and action against Arvind Kumar will follow after the DoPT report is submitted.
Revanth Reddy further explained the GHMC delimitation process. He said the exercise aims to simplify administration by merging multiple bodies. According to him, this will ensure planned and systematic development across the city.
