BJP CLP leader Aleti Maheswar Reddy has questioned whether Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is on his way out. With reports of infighting among Congress ministers and growing tension between the CM and his cabinet, speculation over Revanth’s future has intensified.
Aleti said that even after two days of reports about AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge’s alleged comments, the Telangana Congress has remained silent. According to a media report, Kharge had privately admitted that choosing Revanth Reddy as CM was a mistake and that the Congress would struggle to return to power in Telangana because of it.
After the story broke, several publications carried versions of the same claim, but no Congress minister or senior leader has come forward to deny or defend it. “No one is supporting Revanth Reddy. Everyone is silent. So, are the statements true?” Aleti asked.
He further criticised the government, alleging that corruption, extortion, and internal conflicts have become the defining features of Revanth’s administration.
Political circles in Telangana are now buzzing with rumours that the Congress high command may consider replacing Revanth Reddy. Party insiders reportedly cite poor coordination, internal disputes, and growing public dissatisfaction as key reasons for the move.
For now, the question remains is Revanth Reddy on his way out?
