Janasena Party is contesting in twenty-one Assembly segments and two Parliamentary Segments in the alliance with TDP and BJP.
The Vote Transfer between TDP and Janasena can be the game-changer of this election. YSR Congress is doing its level best to nullify the Janasena factor. There is a big conspiracy to defeat Janasena candidates in their contesting seats.
There is one party called the Navarang Congress Party which has got Bucket Symbol. The symbol is so similar to Janasena’s Glass Tumbler symbol and there is a danger of aged people and people in a hurry can mistake it for Janasena symbol.
Navarang Congress Party has also fielded candidates whose names are similar to that of Janasena candidates.
In Yalamanchili, Janasena candidate is Sundarapu Vijay Kumar. Navarang Congress Party’s candidate name is Sundarapu Arjun Kumar.
In Tadepalligudem, Janasena candidate is Bolisetty Srinivas. Navarang Congress Party’s candidate name is Bolisetty Srinivas Rao.

Luckily, in a very few seats including Pawan Kalyan’s Pitapuram, Navrang Congress Party did not get candidates similar to the names of Janasena candidates. There is another party called Jatiya Janasena Party which also fielded candidates with similar names of Janasena candidates.
Confusion due to symbols and names of candidates can prove to be costly.
In the Telangana elections, the Chapati roller and stick and Road Roller symbols which appear similar to the car symbol of the BRS got a significant number of votes due to the symbol confusion.
BRS supporters claim such symbols resulted in the defeat of their candidates in seats where there is a close contest.
In seats where Janasena is not contesting, these parties put up candidates to cut the votes of the Telugu Desam Party.
Even complaining to the Election Commission can not help in such cases. Janasena and TDP would hope it will not turn out to be costly for them.
Also, there is a danger of the Election Commission giving Glass Tumbler in seats where Janasena is not contesting. TDP has gone to the court to freeze the symbol in the other seats where Janasena is not contesting.
