Today is the Second Day of the AP Assembly Session. Chintakayala Ayyannapatrudu is elected unopposed as the Speaker of the Assembly.

It is a tradition that leaders of all parties in the Assembly take the Speaker and make him sit in the Chair. But Jagan Mohan Reddy and his party boycotted the Assembly.

This is a big blunder by Jagan.

If he did not give minimum respect to the Speaker, there is no way he can demand for Mike and more opportunities in the House tomorrow.

Probably, the YSR Congress is thinking along the lines of boycotting the Assembly.

If they boycotted the Assembly right from day one, it would send a very bad signal to the people.

It is like telling the people that we are not interested in talking about your issues.

It is like telling the people – “you gave us just eleven and so, we do not care for you”.

If Jagan thought the YSR Congress would not get Mike due to a lack of seats, he should have let the government do that. He would have exposed that to the people and gained sympathy.

This is more like an issue of Ego than anything else.

The fact that people reduced him to a lilliput of just eleven MLAs is not sinking in for Jagan. That probably explains why he faltered to say his name at the oath-taking ceremony the other day.

People like Sajjala who drew Lakhs of Rupees in the Government in the name of being Advisers are either incompetent or Jagan is a bigger egoist and just does not care him too!
