2019-2024 seems to be the period of the biggest loot in the history of Andhra Pradesh.
Sakshi Daily owned by Jagan Mohan Reddy has his wife Bharti Reddy as the Chairperson got immensely benefitted.

In the Assembly, it was revealed that Sakshi got advertisements worth 403 Crores during the five-year period while the remaining Newspapers together got 488 Crore during the same period.
Advertisements worth 371 crores have gone to Sakshi directly by the Government and the remaining advertisements worth Rs.32.75 crore were given by collectors and other officials. A total of Rs.403 crores was given to Sakshi.

According to the rules, the advertisements should be given more to the most circulated newspaper. Accordingly, Eenadu should be getting the major chunk of the advertisements.
Along with Sakshi, several National Media houses were given advertisements flouting rules so that they carry Pro-YSR Congress articles and surveys.

Besides the Government also refused to clear the pending bills to Media Houses like Eenadu. Later, they have even stopped taking the Government advertisements.
Along with these advertisement scams, we also know that the then-Jagan Government granted an allowance of Rs 200 per month to 3.78 lakh employees and volunteers working with ward or village sachivalayams (secretariats) to subscribe to a newspaper.
They gave oral instructions that the Newspaper should be Sakshi.
It is around 7.5 Crore per month and 90 Crore Revenue per year for Sakshi.
Like this, Sakshi bumped its circulation as well as revenue.
The new Government stopped this allowance and the 3.78 Lakh illegal subscriptions were lost.
