As all phases of the polling of the Indian General Elections have been finished, various agencies have started giving their exit poll surveys from last evening.
Andhra Pradesh is one of the most anticipated states in these elections due to the fierce competition between the alliance of the Telugu Desam Party-Jana Sena-Bharatiya Janata Party and the YSR Congress Party.

Most of the exit poll surveys revealed that the alliance parties would witness a massive victory in the state in both assembly and Lok Sabha elections.
A few agencies have also predicted the victory of the YCP. As a media agency, one should reveal all exit poll results, no matter which party it supports.

However, these ethics might not apply to YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s Sakshi newspaper and news channel.
Since yesterday, Sakshi has been only showing the exit poll results which are in YCP’s favour. Agencies like AARA, Partha Chanakya, Aatma Sakshi SAS, RACE, Operation Chanakya, Poll Strategy, Agniveer, Poll Laboratory and CPS predicted that YCP would win polls in Andhra Pradesh. The predictions of only these agencies were featured in Sakshi.

On the other side, the most reliable agency Axis My India predicted that the TDP alliance would win the Lok Sabha polls in AP. Many other agencies also predicted the alliance’s victory. None of them were featured in Jagan’s media channel and paper.
By seeing this, people on social media remarked that Sakshi calling itself a media house while displaying such insecurity is quite appalling.
