DIG Prisons, Karnataka D Roopa in a report claims that Sasikala, the close aide of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa is not missing home in Bengaluru Central jail where she is currently serving a 4-year jail sentence after being convicted in a disproportionate assets case.

The reports say that a special kitchen has been built for Sasikala since February 2017. The report also confirms that the top prison officials are well aware of the violations but were silenced paying hefty amounts of money.
Several other facilities were also being provided to her to ensure she does not miss home. Sasikala is even dictating Tamil Politics from the jail itself through her nephew, TTV Dhinakara who has been one of her most frequent visitors at the Bengaluru Central jail.
