The usually serene surroundings of Tank Bund in Hyderabad on a Sunday morning turned into a scene of chaos when a brand-new speeding car lost control on NTR Marg.
The car created havoc as it collided with the railing, causing severe damage to its front and even uprooting a tree on the footpath. Fortunately, the car’s airbags were deployed, ensuring the occupants’ escape without any injuries. However, they fled the scene, leaving behind the severely damaged car and a fallen tree on the footpath.
The authorities were alerted, and the police swiftly arrived at the scene to assess the situation. A crane was employed to remove the wreckage from the accident site.
Preliminary investigations point towards speeding as the primary factor behind the crash, with suspicions that the occupants of the car might have been under the influence of alcohol.
A case has been registered, and a thorough investigation is currently underway to determine the exact cause of the incident and locate the fleeing individuals.
