Jagan tried to erase YSR’s name and named all schemes after him. Except for offering prayers at his father’s Ghat on Jayanthi and Vardhanthi and giving some awards, there is nothing much about YSR in Jagan’s rule.
We have seen Sakshi TV removing YSR’s face from its channel logo after the recent rebranding. The face appeared only after the YSR Congress lost the recent election badly.
Meanwhile, YS Sharmila and the Congress are aggressively trying to grab the YSR legacy.
We have seen Sharmila campaigning as ‘YSR Bidda’ in recent elections. She did not win but she was able to dent some votes that naturally came to Jagan on the name of YSR.
Even after the elections, Congress is making a sincere attempt on that front.
Tomorrow, YS Sharmila is organizing a huge prayer meeting on the occasion of YSR’s 75th Birth Anniversary.
She is planning it to be a big affair and even invited some big Congress leaders.
Sonia Gandhi released a letter remembering Rajasekhar Reddy.
While Sharmila is aggressively trying, Jagan will visit YSR Ghat tomorrow and sit tight at home.
YSR Congress is already weakened and if they lose YSR’s legacy as well, days will be numbered for the party.
