YSR Congress suspended MLA, Roja had submitted her explanation letter about her alleged poor behaviour in Andhra Pradesh Assembly on December 18th which resulted in her one year suspension. The case came to hearing in Supreme court this morning. The apex court finally issued its final verdict pushing the ball in to speaker’s court.

The Supreme Court clarified that Andhra Pradesh Speaker Kodela Siva Prasada Rao can take any decision if the explanation of Roja is not satisfactory. Supreme asked the speaker to put Roja’s letter in to agenda in the next Assembly session and decided up on her. But this is purely advisory of the Supreme Court.
The only respite Roja got in this issue is that the court asked the Assembly officials to allow the suspended MLA to YSR Congress Legislative Assembly Office. The next hearing of the case is posted to the first week of August.
