In a recent survey, the current political landscape in Krishna district has been widely shared on social media. In the 2019 elections, YSRCP secured victory in 14 out of 16 Assembly segments and also won the Machilipatnam Parliament seat. However, the latest survey conducted in January 2024 indicates a notable shift.
As per the survey results, the alliance between TDP and Jana Sena is projected to win 13 Assembly seats, while YSRCP is expected to secure victory in only 2 segments. The voting percentage in the Tiruvur segment is reported to be equal on both sides.
The survey suggests that YSRCP is likely to win Gudivada and Pamarru with a very slim majority. On the other hand, TDP and Jana Sena are predicted to emerge victorious in all other segments. Notably, Yarlagadda Venkat Rao from Gannavaram is anticipated to secure a substantial majority in the district.
The alliance between TDP and Jana Sena is projected to secure over 50% of votes in 11 segments, while YSRCP is reported to have garnered 49% of votes in Pamarru. These survey results offer insights into the shifting dynamics of political support in Krishna district.
