TDP and Jana Sena are all set to announce their second list of candidates. It is heard that the new list of candidates will be unveiled on March 14.
Yesterday, Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan discussed with the BJP leaders and finalised the seat-sharing between the three parties. They are expected to hold another round of discussion either today or tomorrow to completely finalise the entire candidates’ list.
Reportedly, Chandrababu may announce 20-25 Assembly and 7-8 Lok Sabha contestants in the second list. Pawan Kalyan is expected to unveil 6-7 Assembly contestants in his second list. It is heard that the BJP may also announce three of its Lok Sabha contestants on the same day.
As a part of the alliance, TDP decided to contest from 144 Assembly constituencies while JSP and BJP will be in the race in 21 and 10 constituencies respectively. Coming to Lok Sabha, TDP will contest from 17 constituencies, and JSP and BJP will compete from six and two constituencies respectively.
