Andhra Pradesh is going to fulfil the 4 vacant Rajya Sabha seats shortly and there is a lot of discussion happening on the topic. It has been confirmed in principal that TDP will be getting three seats while Janasena will be getting the remaining one.
Confirming the round of speculations that are going viral on social media, TDP is likely to nominate Sana Satish, Kilari Rajesh and Chintakayala Vijay to the Rajya Sabha.
It is evident that all three of these leaders are very close to Lokesh, and this signals that the power transition within TDP is happening quickly with Lokesh taking control.
It appears that Lokesh is reciting force with regard to this Rajya Sabha nomination procedure as all three of these men belong to his core team and they’ve worked really hard for the party in time of distress.
Coming to the Janasena candidate, it is being heard that Lingamaneni Ramesh who is a dear associate of Chief minister Chandrababu Naidu who is the front runner. It should be a matter of time before he gets announced as the Janasena RS candidate.
Janasena supporters might have mixed opinions on this nomination of Ramesh, but Kalyan recently pointed out that it is a political decision that requires adequate consideration and planning rather than sheer party politics.
So this would essentially mean that all four of the Rajya Sabha candidates from Andhra Pradesh are going to have TDP lineage and this is a strong case of political resurgence of TDP which was gutted down after 2019.
