Telangana Speaker Madhusudhanachari is in talks with Constitutional experts regarding what should be done with the pending disqualification petitions and the recent merger proposal put forth by Telangana TDP. The Speaker sat with Telangana Advocate General few times on the issue and also sought the opinion of constitutional experts at the national level.

Errabelli Dayakara Rao earlier gave a letter seeking disqualification of some MLAs and the same person gave another letter for the merger of the party. Speaker is in a confusion to accept what. It is primarily learnt that majority opinion is that Speaker should first take up the disqualification petitions first.
With Narayankhed elections, TRS MLAs count reached 82 including these defections. 64 of them won on Car symbol. 10 TDP MLAs, 4 Congress MLAs, two each from BSP and YSR Congress joined the party. In the 20 months ruling, 18 MLAs have shifted their loyality from their mother parties to TRS.
