In the days of agitations, TRS MLAs and MPs used to have this habit of resigning and again contesting elections to show the world by winning they have the support of the people. This habit seem to be still lingering around even after forming their own Government in the Telangana state. On the eve of Center trying to allot special powers to Governor to take the control of law and order in Hyderabad, Telangana Home Minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy has threatened the Central government that their MPs will resign for their posts provided the Center will not take its proposal back.
The motive behind this strategy is totally unclear as only Nayani knows how a situation will affect the Central government. TRS is neither an ally of the Central government nor its presence is that important to the Center. In fact, resignation will give BJP to try their luck once more in those constituencies and increase their MPs count.
