Telangana polls have been the focal point of Telugu states politics for the last few months and the stage is set for the polls on the 30th of November.
Coming to the point, the BJP is set to be dealt with a shocker of sorts as their star campaigner is set to join the Congress party.
The said politician is Vijayashanthi. She is set to leave BJP and join the Congress party tomorrow. The Telangana Congress leadership has confirmed the same and they are welcoming Vijayashanthi right before the coming polls.
BJP had recently announced Vijayashanthi as one of their star campaigners in BJP and now, she is leaving the party and joining the Congress party.
Vijayashanthi had apparently been disappointed with the BJP high command for a while now and she was contemplating a move back to Congress. She joined BJP by leaving Congress, and now, she is backtracking and going back to join Congress.
However, Vijayashanthi won’t contest in the elections. She will now operate as a star campaigner for Congress in the coming polls.
