Telugu Desam Party Supremo Chandrababu Naidu had put an immense focus on Kadapa district where TDP managed just one seat in the last elections. Kadapa is the native district of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and is a YSR Congress Stronghold.

We have seen how Chandrababu Naidu is giving prime importance to the district to strengthen TDP there. Recently, TDP has defeated Jagan’s Uncle, YS Viveka in MLC Elections. Now, to strengthen the party there further, Naidu is keen on giving TTD Chairman to the leader from the district.
Putta Sudhakar Yadav who contested and lost from Mydukuru constituency is in the race. He is relative to Yanamala Rama Krishnudu and hails from a BC Community. Chandrababu feels he will fit in for the post perfectly taking everything into consideration.
