The accused in the case had approached the High Court for bail. The MD of AR Dairy Raju Sekharan, Bhole Baba Organic Dairy directors Pomil Jain, Vipin Jain and Vaishavi CEO Apoorva Vinaykant Chawda, applied for bail.
In this backdrop, SIT shared its investigation details with the Court. SIT made it clear that Bhole Baba Dairy had no set up to produce milk or ghee and neither did they procure them from the farmers. They made it clear that Bhole Baba made ‘ghee’ from palm oil, chemicals and other ingredients.

This was then supplied to TTD through AR Dairy and Vaishnavi Dairy. Bhole Baba Dairy used AR and Vaishnavi Dairy as the facade through a plan, the lawyer revealed on behalf of SIT. It has to be noted that Bhole Baba Dairy was blacklisted, but used AR, Vaishnavi Dairy to sell their ‘ghee’.
SIT argued that if bail is given to the makers of adulterated ghee, there is a possibility of influencing the witnesses as they were rich. After hearing both sides, the Court postponed the hearing to June 17.
