Jagan Calls Vijay “Dear Brother”, But….

Vijay Jagan political reaction

Tamil cinema star Vijay Thalapathy is on his way to create history as he is the leading candidate to become the new chief minister of Tamil Nadu as his TVK is the single largest party in the state.

Vijay is receiving congratulatory messages from several leading personalities across the country, and it is the turn of former AP chief minister YS Jagan to do so.

Jagan took to social media to share his first reaction on the remarkable victory of Thalapathy as he wrote “A special and heartfelt shoutout to my dear brother, Vijay! Emerging as the single largest party in your very first election is impressive. Wishing you immense strength and success as you embark on this new chapter of service. God be with you.

My sympathies are with Didi. Congratulations to BJP and others.”

While there might be no obvious correlation between Jagan and Vijay, except for the recent casual appearance together at a YS family wedding in Chennai, Jagan was very affectionate towards Vijay in his triumph today.

Another interesting point is that Jagan decided to extend his sympathy to Mamata Banerjee, who is again not related to Jagan politically at any level. This could perhaps be considered as an effort from Jagan to expand his reach beyond AP, something he hasn’t done till now.
