After having travelled with YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for a period of more than two decades, Vijaya Sai Reddy quit YSR Congress in 2025 and has been looking for his own independent approach in politics.
It should be a matter of time before this senior politician announce his own political party in Andhra Pradesh, which could be done this week itself. In the meanwhile, he has started a direct attack against his former boss Jagan.
Vijaya Sai Reddy has said it pains him badly to see Jagan in an incompetent position as the opposition leader of the state as he’s not a dedicated person for the job.
This was followed by another substantial comment from the senior politician as he said he would soon be exposing the religious politics done by Jagan and also the NDA government.
Needless to say whatever Vijay has to allege about the NDA can be considered as speculation as he would not have first hand information. But whatever he says about Jagan could very much be true, considering that he was with the YCP chief for more than two decades.
If Sai Reddy can push out some crucial information regarding the religious conversion politics that happened during the YCP regime, then it could be a deadly blow to the Jagan party. Considering that Sai Reddy was with Jagan for many years and knows his ways in and out, any revelation could mean a big deal.
This would drastically affect the vote bank of Jagan, and that is something that he would be desperately not wanting at this point. But considering the dynamic and aggressive nature of Sai Reddy, he might not back down from the situation now.
