YSRCP Left Jagan? Vijaya Sai Explodes in Anger

Vijaya Sai Reddy reacts to YSRCP MPs

Vijaya Sai Reddy was once a key member of the YSR Congress party. Jagan had strong trust in him and even nominated him to the Rajya Sabha. However, in a surprising move, Vijaya Sai exited the party after the 2024 electoral setback.

Now, Vijaya Sai is questioning the integrity of YSRCP MPs. He stated that they failed to defend their party chief Jagan when he was criticised in the Lok Sabha recently. His remarks have sparked fresh political debate.

The issue began after a comment by Congress Rajya Sabha MP from Telangana, Renuka Chowdary. She said, “I told the then chief minster(Jagan) Pettara Peru Amaravati. Pilavara Peru Kammaravati.” The statement was seen as provocative and in poor taste.

Despite the strong nature of the remark, YSRCP MPs did not respond. None of the Rajya Sabha or Parliamentary members from the party publicly condemned the statement. This silence has drawn criticism from several quarters.

Vijaya Sai, who claims to have no connection with YSRCP now, reacted strongly. “When a Congress MP in the Rajya Sabha speaks out so brazenly against your YSRCP party president, didn’t it feel like at least like an ant bite to the YSRCP MPs? Why didn’t you stop it? Why Didn’t you condemn it? Why were you just silent spectators?” he posted.

His comments suggest that he is more vocal on this issue than the party’s current MPs. The situation has added another layer of tension in Andhra Pradesh politics. It continues to capture public attention with new developments.
