TDP leader Anam Venkata Ramana Reddy was attacked on Sunday. The incident took place near the RTA office in Nellore when Reddy was returning on his bike. Approximately ten individuals attempted an attack on bikes with sticks. The video has been caught on CCTV and is now going viral on social media, and people are bashing the YCP government for their unlawful governance.
As soon as the TDP workers retaliated, the attackers fled from the scene. Anam, who strongly condemned the incident, targeted the YCP. He expressed his anger over the situation. He said that no one here would be scared by YSRCP’s goons’ army.
He also issued a warning, stating that the police should take immediate action against those responsible for the attack. He also cautioned that if action is not taken, there is a risk of street wars happening in the future, posing a threat to public safety. He also made it clear that they would continue to fight against the YCP’s atrocities.
Anam Venkata Ramana Reddy has been making strong allegations about Jagan’s government for the past many days. TDP workers believe that frustrated YCP henchmen are targetting Anam Venkata Ramana Reddy as he is exposing the loopholes in Jagan’s rule.
It is being reported that the locals approached the police and provided information regarding the attack on Venkata Ramana Reddy. After learning about the incident, several TDP leaders and party workers, including Kilari Venkataswamy Naidu, went to the residence of Venkata Ramana Reddy and took cognizance of his well-being.
