Vivekananda Reddy Case Witness Death

One of the key witnesses in Viveka case, Ranganna (85) died yesterday. His wife Suseelamma had filed a case with Pulivendula police saying her husband died under suspicious circumstances.

Ranganna was suffering with asthma and other respiratory problems. Two weeks back, he fell down and hurt his leg.

Since then, he was staying at home in Pulivendula suffering severe health conditions. On Wednesday, he complained of breathlessness and was taken to RIMS Kadapa by his family and the constable who has been kept for his safety.

The doctors declared him dead in the evening. The police have filed a case calling it a mysterious death. As Ranganna happens to be a key witness in the case, the police have taken the death rather seriously.

The officials have appointed CI Usalayya to look into the matter. Meanwhile, Ranganna’s wife complaining about his death has gained prominence.

Ranganna was the watchman at the house of Vivekananda Reddy when he was brutally murdered on March 15, 2019, days prior to general elections.

Ranganna is said to have divulged some key details to CBI during questioning. The CBI many of these points in the chargesheet later.
