Chandrababu Naidu is always known to be very slow in making decisions, especially pertaining to the Nominated Posts.
In the last couple of months, there were reports that the nominated posts including the TTD Board would be announced but the announcement went on getting delayed as Naidu is in endless talks with the aspirants and alliance partners.
Now, constituting the TTD Board will be very difficult after the Laddu controversy.
There were demands that the TTD Board or for that matter all the Temple Boards should be freed from Government control and the temples should be Governed by a Dharmik Parishad. But that is not going to be an easy decision for the Governments.
There will be a heavy demand for the TTD Board from the Chairman to the Members. We have even seen Union Ministers recommending the people.
The TTD Board whenever announced will be under intense scrutiny of the Public as well as the Media after the Laddu controversy.
So, Chandrababu has to be very careful. We may even see the announcement getting delayed now.
There were reports that TV5 Chairman BR Naidu is the front-runner for the TTD Chairman post.
BR Naidu is known to be a devout Hindu but then, the Opposition will make a political ruckus over his appointment. So, it becomes difficult for Chandrababu Naidu now.
BR Naidu may have to wait longer now.
